BeCause

Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. (I John 3)

BeCause is the theme for the 2010 Ichthus music festival. It’s a call to stop talking and start doing something. It’s about living for the one and only cause that really matters.

God wants to radically transform our lives with his amazing, life-changing love (that’s the “Be” part). And then he wants us to join him in spreading his love wherever we go (that’s the “cause” part).

BeCause is about loving God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength…and loving your neighbor as yourself. It’s about being and doing. Not about talking.

Love is a verb. In other words, if you’re talking about love but not doing something, it’s not love.
