Melting faces off in a family friendly atmosphere- is typically a sentence that most cannot compose or fathom at any place, except the Ichthus Music Festival.  Wednesday’s Community night at Ichthus 2010 marked the first time Ichthus actively sought to draw in an entire audience, that normally would not attend, or had never heard of the Christian music festival. What started as a response to Woodstock in the 70’s has transformed into a full-fledged, pro-active ministry, reigniting and awakening generations to Jesus Christ.  Considered a grass roots movement of youth and young adults, exciting things are bound to happen when you allow 20,000 people to gather in one place and shout out to a stale nation: that Jesus Christ is alive and revolutionizing the lives of millions.  Though this is a significant piece, the full picture of Ichthus is too intricate to compose without the help of the press.

That’s why we invite you and your news organizations.  Whether it's via radio, tv or blog, we want you to see for yourself how multifaceted Ichthus really is.  After reading the guidelines below and applying for your press pass, we'll notify you of acceptance via email. Our guidelines for obtaining a press pass have changed so please read through them before applying.

Press who are approved will receive their official "Ichthus Press Pass" in the mail approximately two weeks prior to the event. Approved press will be invited to a press meeting 2-3 days prior to the festival where they will receive a schedule of press events, outline of story ideas and make interview requests.
