If you're a band trying to take the next step to get your band's career moving forward this might be for you!

Ichthus is proud to be working closely with Word Label Group whose involvement could mean some SERIOUS bonuses for you and your band! We are also proud to be working closely with SonicBids this year to ensure a smooth and successful competition.

The entry price will be $50 again this year so it's a great value!!! Pay your fee, submit your epk online and then promote your band to your friends, family and others so they can go to the Ichthus site and vote. Voting is done online and is limited to one vote per day per email.

What you get:
The top 5 vote winners will battle live at the Deep End stage on Thursday June 11 from 9:30 AM till Noon. 3 other winners chosen from the entrants by the Ascenxion Project judging team will also appear in the competition on Thursday morning. Two other winners from Regional band competitions in Ohio and Tennessee will round out the competition for a total of ten slots competing for the grand prize at the festival.

The Grand prize winner, to be chosen by the judges during their live performance, will receive a 10 minute slot (perform two songs) on main stage on Friday at noon, and will have a 30 minute set at 3:00 pm on the Deep End stage on Saturday. The winner will also go on to the national competition in Nashville sponsored by Word records against the winners of the other participating CFA festivals. The national winner will receive a developmental deal with Word Records.

If you are chosen as one of the finalist for the festival an Ichthus representative will notify you. At that time you will be required to submit a $100 competition fee. Chosen artists must perform a song featured on one of their submitted demos. For those who wish to compete as a band, Ichthus will supply all the necessary back-line gear. Sharing back-line gear is required and makes the transition between contestants go more smoothly.

The second and third place finishers will receive a slot on the Edge stage.
