Ichthus AdventureServe:
Ichthus Music Festival is excited to announce their Ministry Partnership with Confrontation Point Ministries and Kevin Burgess to extend an invitation to you and your group to join Ichthus AdventureServe, a four day mission experience that leads up to the festival!! Your group can choose to “Live Love” in either an inner city or rural Appalachian setting from Sunday, June 17th to Wednesday, June 20th. Then, come celebrate what the Lord has done at the Ichthus Music Festival from June 20th to the 23rd! Both trips are geared toward serving the community during the day with corporate worship and intimate discipleship in the evenings.
Some of you might recognize Confrontation Point for their, “Recycle Cage,” on the main strip of Ichthus since 2009. Beyond these recycling efforts, their main focus has been doing missions in the Appalachian Region for over 30 years. Their trips challenge groups to grow as a team, spiritually as individuals and as leaders. Kevin, (2010 Edge Stage Speaker and former Ichthus Ministry Coordinator), has a heart to see our Lord’s prayer in John 17 come to life! Through this mission, volunteers from churches of many different denominations and parachurch ministries of all types are coming together as the Body of Christ to love and to serve, “the widow, the fatherless and the stranger.”
Whether you choose “LexReach” or Appalachian Home Repair you can be assured that your trip is designed with the Youth Leader and their group in mind. Each trip is fully organized, scheduled, programmed and directed by AdventureServe staff to allow leaders time to focus on their groups without the headaches of logistics! This is an opportunity to strengthen relationships, minister to specific needs and be transformed by the power of God in Christian community. Back To Menu

Ichthus AdventureServe is in a unique position to work with groups and staff from many different denominations. As a staff, we enthusiastically affirm the Apostle's Creed. By using this creed, and the other early Christian creeds as our guide, we can be assured that our core beliefs are located directly within the "trunk" of Christianity. Our staff is encouraged to have a strong faith and to live this out in a context of love. We expect our staff to be firm on these core truths and to exercise charity and love in all aspects of the Christian worldview.
Our emphasis at Ichthus AdventureServe is on developing a supportive Christian community and encouraging a lifestyle that flows from a Christian worldview. We provide a structure for you and your adult leaders to disciple the youth and develop relationships with them within your own specific theological system. Back To Menu
The Apostles Creed
We believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
We believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic* church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting, Amen.
*"catholic" meaning "universal.” We are not "Roman Catholic;" we are multi-denominational, working with churches and staff from many different denominations.
