Each year, youth groups make up approximately half of the Ichthus festival crowd. We asked youth leaders why they bring their groups to Ichthus each year. Here are the top reasons they gave.

1. They don't have to worry about programming another event. It's done for them. 

    This means they get to focus solely on building relationships with their students.

2. The overall experience provides a great environment for building community.

     Talking around the campfire, sharing experiences together, witnessing life-changing moments, and

     even adapting to the weather can create incredible community-building moments. Relationships are

     built. Deep bonds are formed. And youth groups return to their churches, communities, and schools

     different than when they came.

3. The music and the artists are a draw for nonbelievers.

     It gives the Christ followers in their group a great opportunity to invite their friends who aren't
     followers of Jesus.

4.  They know ministry will happen and their students' lives will be changed at Ichthus.

     They know that spiriutal impact is the real reason Ichthus exists, and they know their students will

     hear relevant spiritual truths and come face-to-face with God in new and fresh ways.

5.  Their students have big fun and want to come back.

     It's generally one of top one or two most popular events with their students. They look forward to the

     Ichthus experience every year.

6.  Ichthus is a great financial value.

     They spend less in four days at Ichthus than they spend on some of their one-day events. That means

     they don't have to spend half the year raising money for Ichthus.

Ichthus has special pricing for groups of ten or more. Plus youth groups get one free ticket with the purchase of each ten tickets. That way they can cover the cost of chaperones or provide a few scholarship tickets for their group.
