Ichthus Worker Cont.

Ichthus Code of Conduct
- Ichthus provides security 24 hours a day during the festival. More than 250 security workers work in cooperation with state, county, local police, and emergency medical services. Your cooperation with these officials and workers is greatly appreciated, and assists them in their commitment to a safe, quality festival.
- Youth supervisors and /or adult leaders are responsible for the safety and welfare of their youth group members. Ichthus is not responsible for any consequences of individual or group behavior that is contrary to festival regulations.
- All campers younger than 18 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult camper who is at least 21 years old. Ichthus strongly suggests a ratio of at least one adult for every 8 campers younger than 18. Any underage campers without appropriate chaperones will be asked to have a chaperone join them or will no longer be permitted to camp.
- Ichthus enforces a 2:00am curfew. Campers are expected to be in their camping area and quiet at this time. At this time, the entrance gates will be closed and campers are expected to be in their group camping areas.
- Wristbands must be worn at all times during the festival. Those with lost or broken wristbands will be charged a replacement fee
- Group leaders are responsible for obtaining medical release forms required by law for minors. Please bring all medical and parental release forms with you to the festival and have them available to expedite any necessary treatment.
- Due to safety concerns, there will be no pedestrian/bicycle traffic allowed on U.S. 68 but attendees may leave via the Kinlaw exit.
- Chairs and coolers are only permitted in the grassy area of the main stage amphitheater.
- No open fires are permitted on Ichthus property. This includes campfires and candles. Charcoal grills or gas stoves are permitted.
- No moshing, slam dancing, or crowd surfing is permitted at the Ichthus festival. Violators may forfeit their wristbands.
- Videotaping of any concert at the festival is strictly prohibited.
- No bikes, skateboards, or rollerblades are permitted on the campgrounds.
- Those found to be in possession of firearms, alcoholic beverages, drugs or fireworks will be dismissed from the campgrounds and the proper authorities will be notified!
- The following items will be confiscated by security personnel if found:
-Tobacco products outside the camping areas or by anyone under 18 years of age
-Frisbees, footballs, baseballs, soccer balls, hackey sacks, laser pointers, and other such toys OUTSIDE the camping areas
-Water guns or water balloons
- Lost and Found is located in the Communications room in the barn. All lost items should be taken to or retrieved from Lost and Found. Always know the name or organization that your campsite is registered under, for contact with Lost and Found. Ichthus is not responsible for any lost items. After three months, all unclaimed items will become the property of Ichthus or donated to charity.
- Pets are not allowed on the festival grounds or in camping areas, unless needed for one’s disabilities.

2010 Ichthus Worker Covenant
Understanding that my responsibilities are a vital part of the ministry of Ichthus, I commit to work a 9 hour shift of my choosing.

If I find that I am unable to attend the festival I will contact an Ichthus representative by Friday May 28, 2010 to cancel my shift and receive a full refund. I understand that failure to do so will result in forfeiture of all monies paid.

I understand that if I obtain my 2010 festival wristband and fail to work my assigned shift this will result in:
-the forfeiture of my right to participate as an Ichthus worker in the future
-a charge of $99.00 – the cost of a Full Event wristband

I understand that during my scheduled shift, Ichthus reserves the right to move me to work in another area as needed.

I understand that I am responsible for my overall conduct and compliance with the Ichthus Code of Conduct and that Ichthus Ministries, Inc. will not take responsibility for any consequences of my behavior that is contrary to the Code of Conduct.

I understand that misconduct on my part could result in the removal of my wristband and forfeiture of my right to work in the future.

As an Ichthus worker, I understand that I am responsible for enforcing all festival rules (per the Code of Conduct) and must immediately report anyone found in violation of these regulations to my work supervisor.

I agree that, unless I am working, I will comply with the Ichthus curfew that is set for 2:00am. Curfew has been established in order to preserve the privacy of our neighbors and to ensure the safety of all Ichthus participants.

If I’m a group leader, I understand that it is my responsibility to convey the details of the Ichthus Code of Conduct and this Worker Covenant to all members of my group. I am also responsible for the overall conduct and compliance of my group to the above stated Code of Conduct and this Worker Covenant.
